You may register for a maximum of 12 classes with a limit of 3 per individual educator. Convention registration is required in order to participate in classes. No membership in any painting organization is required.

Registration is accepted by mail, email or phone ( or by phone (614-394-8028).

2018 Convention Registration Fee (U. S. Funds Only)
Through July 15 – $99.00
From July 16 – $120.00

The registration form must be completely filled out. The forms may be copied. Keep a copy for your records and please print legibly. The classes are arranged by day and time in the Convention catalog.

When completing your registration form, list classes each day in order of preference by including 3 choices for each time period. The information needed for registration accompanies the photo of each class project. The class & surface fee includes the prepared surface, paint/mediums, photo and instructions. This fee is due with the registration form.

Accepted forms of payment are check, money order (U.S. Funds only), MasterCard, Discover or Visa. Credit cards will not be charged until the total amount due is verified. Stopped payment and returned checks will be assessed a fee of $35.

The computer does not allow the scheduling of two classes that share the same time slot or that overlap each other.

HOOT reserves the right to cancel classes.

Registrations and/or classes are not transferable. A photo I.D. is required to receive your registration packet at Convention and will be required if registering at Convention. Registrations will not be accepted via mail, email, or phone after July 31, 2018 but on-site registration will resume at the Convention on August 7, 2018.

If you would like to register with a friend for the SAME CLASSES, write “Please process with __________” at the top of your registration form. Send the registration forms together in the same envelope. Or, if you are not able to send them in the same envelope, please ensure they are postmarked on the same date. Every attempt will be made to process your schedules accordingly. We will hold the registrations though until all in your group are received, thus putting you later in line if the registrations are not received at the same time.

Class Registration Confirmation:
Confirmations will be sent by email from If you do not have an email address, enclose a self-addressed, stamped BUSINESS-sized envelope with the registration form to receive your confirmation. If an envelope is not enclosed, or your registration is very close to the July 31st cut-off date, you may receive your confirmation when you arrive at the Convention.
